Shepherd Park Plaza Plaza Moms

For more than 15 years, we've been coming together to share friendship and fun in and around our neighborhoods. We work to provide great activities for kids and their parents and to make our neighborhoods an even greater place to live. If you're a mom or a young lady that that is not a mom, we'd love for you become a part of our group. It's a great way to network within your neighborhood and do something great for yourself and your children.

December Meeting

Our party will be Tuesday, Dec 15th at 7:00pm at the home of Christina Coward - 1111 Richelieu
Join us for a night of relaxing away from the hustle and bustle of the season and celebrate the holidays with Plaza Moms.

Once again, we’ve decided that in lieu of an ornament exchange (typical ornament would cost $10) – that the Plaza Moms Society would like to support the Holiday Store at the Houston Area Women’s Center. Please join us, bring any new unwrapped presents for babies through adults to the party. See Big Tent for more information on what is needed.

Plaza Moms group is a great way to network within your neighborhood and do something fun for yourself and your children.  If you are interested in joining or have questions, please contact Julie Landreth at julie@julielandreth.com or, Trisha Roberts at Trisha.Roberts@anadarko.com

Our Purpose

Plaza Moms was created to serve the needs of mothers in Shepherd Park Plaza and Candlelight Plaza. We formed the group so that we may enjoy the support, camaraderie, and friendship of other mothers in our neighborhood, so that we will continue to grow as parents, and so that our children and families will enjoy the benefits of neighborhood friends.

Through this organization, we plan and take part in activities for the children, the couples, the families, and the mothers in our community.Throughout the year, we coordinate a wide range of activities that include:

--Monthly meetings
--Quarterly Ladies Night Out
--Seasonal family events
--Ongoing service to moms in our area

Our Mission

Plaza Moms provides a framework upon which we may build a diverse assortment of smaller groups, such as play groups and game night groups.

Plaza Moms offers members and their families friendship on a day-to-day basis, and also shows support for members during challenging times, such as when a member has a baby or a loved one is ill.

Plaza Moms strives to share information related to mothering, parenting, area schools and businesses. We host informal speakers, share our knowledge of resources, and coordinate events that help us grow as women and mothers.

Plaza Moms participates in charitable activities and works to improve our neighborhoods.

Plan to join us at our next monthly meeting or at an upcoming event!
